For some reason when I record a track sometimes and go to edit the parameters in the step edit screen I cant see the notes. I make sure that the timing isnt too quantised so that it skips so even on 1/32(3) I still cant see the notes but I can play and hear them once I play the track. This is really frustrating. Ohh and I am sure that Im on the right track by soloing the track but still no flo. Any ideas??

Hold down the GOTO button while pressing the locate buttons `<<` or `>>` to jump to the next event in the track while in the step edit screen to make sure you can find the events.

I didn`t know that it was possible to see notes that are recorded.

you could be on the wrong track. you need to be in the track with the notes you want to see before you can step.

MPC 3000,
Good looking with the tip about pressing the GO TO and the less & greater than buttons to find the next note. I used to spend time manualy turning the wheel looking for the notes. You just saved me mad time. And I thought I new it all about the MPC. Everyday you learn something new.
