It really is. Very useful additions, both - the FX Bypass button is nice.

And just yesterday I showed a friend (who just got her MPC1000/JJ OS2XL) how to trim samples, she commented on the difficulty of having to scroll through all Edit (F6) options. Have to show her this... 8)

i never know where to look on the JJ website to find instructions to new features. do you really have to sift through the mess that is also known as the jjosxl manual every time there is an update?

Btw. this feature is great!!

word!

would be nice if we could customize the buttons/functions.

e.g. on shift+f1 there would be the bit crusher, on shift+f2 the silence function, etc.

Yeah I was thinking the same as well. But either way, I'm liking both of these new additions! 8)

This.

Would love to be able to extract chops easier at least (for further processing) :)

Bit of a pain turning NDC off, then inputting start and end values, then doing extract, then going back and turning NDC back on.
I'm not moaning though, just saying.

Being able to go through and select certain chops for deletion would be a very nice feature too.

+1 id also like to be able to extract a chop to new sample. hit shift, then f1, get a dialog box, select multiple chops, hit "extract audio" and BAM!! all new samples from chops.
