buttons gettin old on the xl...

ive had my xl for roughly a year, i bought it used obviously and now the buttons arent as responsive as they once were. for instance i have to push pretty hard, and wiggle the buttons of the right cursor, down cursor, and f4 buttons, to get them to work. recently i opened the mpc up for the first time cuz i broke the "do it" button, i think its f5...i noticed that its pretty easy to replace buttons (both the top plastic part and the actual black tact switch). i ordered a new plastic button to replace the one i broke (from mpc stuff). should i order a few tact switches (these ones...http://www.mpcstuff.com/small-tact-swit ... utton.html) and replace them myself? will this help my buttons be more responsive? thanks for any help...

You can get the tact switches a lot cheaper if you search the forum.

I've not done it myself, but Askia and LZ Roberts have made recent threads about it.

is there any step by step examples of this? im really lookin to change all my tact switches if i can get them cheap enough. i just dont really know what im looking for when it comes to the dimensions of the mpc 2000xl tact switches.

im just gonna take it to rogue or armens and have them do it, i dont trust myself with this kinda stuff.
