A Canadian.

Ill cosign this...

Shipping time is no excuse...You American cats treat Canadians like we live in Antarctica. Tape Op gives free subscriptions to residents of the US, UK and Australia, but wont give a free subscription to Canada.....WTF?! Like shipping to the UK costs more than shipping here.

Plus, I build most of my own shelving/desks, so youre missing out on some good design skills. I would have built and shipped a MPD sized shelf for a 2000..

Physically, I don't live in the US. I will be shipping the MPC out via US military post office. It cost about $40 to ship to the US (I am paying for the shipping cost). Shipping to Canada costs much more and again, USPS takes forever. I don't know why? Customs? But it is a fact. Years ago when I was an eBay hustler, I stopped shipping to Canada for these reasons. So I am sorry.

Look...I was just fixing up my studio and looking at redundant items I don't need. I could easily just put it on eBay and not receive very much for it. But as a member of this forum for so many years, it would give me greater satisfaction for one of you guys to have it.

I will give this another 24 hours or so to drum up some more interest. Then I will post a date to close the contest and have forum members vote on the best design.

I don't know why this isn't 'worldwide', with the winner paying the postage if he lives outside the US.

The main problem is I don't want any money to exchange hands. Then there is tracking, customs, VAT, etc. The MPC 2000 is heavy and expensive to shift. Then there is a possibility of dealing with individual that could claim they didn't receive the MPC, its broken, etc, etc. I can see too many potential problems.
