Find name of sample

Say I want to trim a sample but I dont know the name of it. How do I find it?

select the sound name, turn the data wheel and press the pads

Forgot to say "In the Trim Screen"

in trim screen you can sort the sounds by name, size etc. by pressing F1

Another way to find your sample is to
1. press shift and 6,
2. select whichever drum program the sample is in (drum1-drum4),
3. highlight the "Snd" field,
4. then hit whatever pad that your sample is assigned to.
5. Now, when you hit shift and 5, that sample will be displayed in the trim screen.

Isnt their a way to see the names of the samples layed out just like you were lokkin at the pads?

In the pad/sample assignment screen highlight either the pad or the sample assigneed to it and press Open Window.

I didn't know about that tip myself. That helps alot.
