Quiet samples

I turned on my mpc to mess with a beat I am making and half my samples have become very quiet, barely audible. The levels are all 100 and its only some samples. I tried reloading them and they're still quiet. Any ideas?

If you're sampling from vinyl: are you using a preamp?

I figured it out. It was the headphones. I had the jack flipped around and it was playing the samples in mono instead of stereo, so only the mono samples had a full sound. Just had to flip the cord around. Haha
