MPC 4000 and Reason

Im trying to use Reason rewired into Pro Tools with my MPC 4000 and Motif...Now, The Motif when Im in Reason Rewired plays the Dr. Rex from the root key of C on the piano keys...Right...but, on the MPC 4000....When Im trying to play the first sample on the Dr. Rex player with the MPC 4000 the first sample is on Pad 2...now Im guessing is there some type of way to set the default keys on the MPC...I dont want to change or mess up the way its setup now because everything plays good with the MPC and Motif on their own...Or maybe if I set up the keys right, it will probably fix it with the motif and the Reason...can someone tell me how to get to the screen where it shows the keys on which key in the 4000? I need to know which key is supposed to be on which pad...Because the Redrum player in Reason I can only use 4 pads...and on the DR. Rex...I can only sample with the keyboard but it doesnt seem right to do it with the keyboard, I want to be able to press pads as if my MPC 4000 functioned like a MPD32...

I hope that made sense...Im trying with to mess with this Reason in Pro Tools and make a Reason beat in Pro Tools, this is harder then I thought...

Ok, now that THAT is out of the way...

When I use reason, the first four pad on bank A are useless. This is with the default CHROMATIC
"pad assignment". The first 16 parts will be on pads 5-16 in bank A and pads 1-4 of bank B.

I'm not very familiar with Dr Rex because I like to chop "in the box", but that's how the ReDrum and Kong are laid out.

Flip through the banks, you will find what you are looking for.

If that doesn't work press the PAD ASSIGN button to the left of the pads.

you can adjust what notes correspond to what pads.

go to the pad assign screen...make sure it's set to chromatic.

what i do is go to bank b and adjust pad 1 to be note #36. this is usually where all the reason based stuff starts from.

Nah my dude, it wasnt the lack of punctuation. I was typing my question as I was thinking it out.

Somewhere in that chapter there was a question, and even that doesn't make sense.

Awesome, I couldnt figure that out for the life of me...I got frustrated and turned all that shit off...LOL
