Getting mpc2000xl to play midi data from sequencer on PC

^^ thanks, I'll try this mpc3000, as when I tried just creating separate instances of the vsti in cubase it didnt do the trick.

Another related and helpfull setting is `PADS TO INTERNAL DRUM: OFF`. This is equivalent to local off of synthesizers where you can send midi data from the MPC's pads, record it in an outboard sequencer and eacho back to the internal MPC samples.


Ive searchde but cant find 'pads to internal drum:off'... where exactly is this option?

That setting is buried somewhere in the program or drum settings. On the XL it is at the top of the screen somewhere. I do not recall.
