on the 60 i had to copy zone to temp or whatevs but on the 3k its a little guilty pleasure i allow myself.. Take the sample, move the start and end points, then copy the sound, assign to new sound and do it all over again. then once ive made my kit or chops i go back and quickly truncate/delete before start and ends of all the pieces i made.. Its just the way that makes sense to me convoluted or no... TBH the only feature i miss from the 2k is the waveform slicing feature... oh and the pads can be used to do track mutes.. not that im goin back to the 2k ever tho...
