Hi! I've just found an AKAI S20 (this: http://www.vintagesynth.com/akai/s20.php ) on ebay. All works but it doesn't read or write or floppy disk. I've made several S1000 floppys as in this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqJ7jMtN5W8 . But the answer of the machine it's always "noFo". I've tried to format a floppy with the S20: it starts and after a little of time it says ERR.

Other things are ok, it can sample, playbanck, edit ecc ecc.

Is the floppy brocken or I am doing something wrong?
If it's broken can I change it with another standard floppy drive?
And wath about a usb floppy emulator like this on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... K:MEWAX:IT ) ???

Thank you ;)

i'm sure you could install a floppy emulator in it as long as you know what the jumper settings need to be...
