So after seeing this video: http://vimeo.com/339998 long ago, I finally got the materials to make it happen.
The goal:
transform a telephone handset into a working microphone and headphone to plug into a dj mixer
Before the metamorphosis:
I discovered that the mic included was too weak, so I took a speaker out of another handset and wired it in backwards to make it a mic.
following this very complex and detailed diagram, I was able to achieve my goal
