Just bought an MPC and don't know what to do...

u can sample from records or directly from ur computer if u got the proper gear(good sound card or recording interface)

u can put samples onto floppies or zip disks by using ur computer, but remember the samples need to be at a 44.1khz wav format.

the machine you bought was made 11 years ago, so its not gonna be what your used to if u use a daw.

What was the purpose of buying a hardware sampler/sequencer in the first place? If you don't mind me asking.

im thinkin OP just wanted some buttons to push instead of keys on a keyboard and clickin a mouse... shoulda got an MPD?

I've had a Korg Pad Kontrol for a while now, it's cool i guess. I find I'm more creative when I use hardware. The fact that it's more time consuming only makes me put more work into my craft.

one more question tho. how do i connect the CF reader to the MP?
