Yo, i've been sampling and i realized that i always had the anti skate set to 0. i got a test record and set the anti skate so the stylus stays put on a blank vinyl. is that the correct way to set it up? i tried sampling with the skate on 0, and the skate on the setting so it stays put on a blank vinyl, and i feel like i do hear a slight difference, but my ears are tired and i could be hearing things that aren't even there. what's your guys input on this, does anti skate heavily effect the sound? what should i be looking out for? i feel when i have the anti skate to around 2 rather than 0, the record sounds less dull? yet again ,i could be imaging all this! good looks.
thanks mpc fam!
