Probably a Yamaha DX synth, and the drums could be any '80's box, the heavy gated reverb on these kind of pop records all sounded the same to me no matter what drum machine it was.

Sounds like it might be an Oberheim DMX drum machine to me, but I could be wrong.

its for an ex girlfriend in germany who i suspect is having relationship troubles as cracks are showing .

Honestly you might be better off just playing the original for her as is....I don't wanna be the nay-sayer of the bunch but I'm not sure I'd sample this track.

Edited- actually let me clarify what I'm trying to say— to me the track seems like it would be difficult to work with (this is obviously just my opinion)but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me that some of the guys here on the forums would be able to make a Banger with this and I'd actually love to hear someone flip this because like I said this wouldn't be something I would use.
