I just noticed the manual is available... I couldn't resist, had to read it.

And it's amazing.

16 tracks total. 8 internal, 8 external. That's plenty.

No erase functions for the sequencer, apparently. But there is a: "Sample Edit mode. Here you can fine tune and make many changes to the sample you just recorded." Wow. Fixed fx order, obviously parallel modulation/reverb/delay into comp/eq. I'm impressed. The manual seems to be kind of a quick start guide, though - probably all functions are not even mentioned there. I hope.

But the real niceties can be found in the Midi Implementation Chart:
What about (Recognized) Velocity? I don't get it.
No Aftertouch.
No Program Change.
No System Exclusive.
No System Common.
No System Real Time Clock... what?

Anyway, it might be a quite ok, simple, basic sampler/sequencer for beginners. I'd say it's well worth the $150...

... no, wait! Whaaat? 10 times that? For real?
... I could get four fully upgraded, used MPC1000s for that kind of money.
... ah, well.
