i was wondering is there anyway to open a SND file once it is on your computer and if so what program would you use that would recognize that file type.

audacity
read it in as a raw wave file, 44.1khz, 16bit, stereo or mono (up to you to figure out), then you will simply need to ignore the 'header' area...which will sound like a digital noise burst at the beginning or end of the file.

i am pretty sure that will work, but maybe somebody else has done it and can comment.

alternatively, you could save an APS "WITH WAVES" and just open the waves.
