Go in a different direction than you ever have before. Try something new even if it doesn't amount to anything.

try using the minimum amount of equipment if your in a stump. i was in a stump a couple weeks ago, i unhooked my sp303, and just used it alone for a while.

i think people hit creative blocks when they try to hard to make a nice track and when they have more than enough tools at their disposal. (like too many effects)...just get the essentials. percussion, bass, samples, instruments w/e and just play.

or just watch movies, play games, go outside, go to the lake/park, chill and forget about music

I obsess over sample collecting. I just listen to everything, dont make a beat, just keep digging, and digging, and digging.

at the end of the day, days, week, ill have shit ton of samples and I wont even realize it.
