FL Studio Mobile app for iPhone and iPad out.

I didn't watch all the vids, but I thought they'd mention it if it was there. The iPad must have the processing power to have realtime swing, so hopefully they will implement it in an update.

Yeah I believe you are right. I have a Mac computer so I never had the opportunity to try FL Studio so the novelity of it on my iPad was really appealing. I would say that it is one of the best looking, hi res audio sequencers on the iPad format with alot of time and effort spend in it and it shows. The programming is easy and intuitive as expected. It also sounds good though I haven't ran it out into my studio monitors just the iPad speakers and headphones, the limiters pushes the sounds. I am looking forward to the update with sampling, editing, and the added swing. Though it doesn't have the smart instruments like GarageBand on but you into key and auto chords the sound libraries are much better and I believe you have more tracks.

It may be a great starter app for those like myself who have never used FL Studio that is the great thing about iPad the potential to grow and expand when maybe a logic mobile, reason mobile, Ableton Mobile or pro tools mobile hits the market in the future.

The iPad will only get more powerful, so who knows what the future apps will be able to do.

I'm on Mac now, and it's unfortunate that Image Line doesn't release FL on it. On a timing tip, what's cool on the full version is all the groove templates for quantizing individual tracks, coupled with an overall swing setting. It makes it really nice for Hip Hop and House stuff.

Cool info Coz I guess around iPad 4 or 5 we may start to see laptop specs and memory. Once the Mac OS goes all the way into iOS it will be all she wrote. Til then let the developers see the potential market and begin the ports with a users base of 10 million plus the music production users can have a field day with apps.

Is it possible to use FL Studio Mobile in rewire with FL Studio Desktop as FPC [MPC] ?

I may be wrong but as of now I don't think you can.

......About a month later...
For those loosely following this, the new update allows for importing your own samples via .zip or .inst(?) files. Also, Sonoma audio copy has been implemented. No swing settings that I can see as of yet but this is just the beginning.

I also have iSequence but I'm liking FL better because you're not stuck with a 1/16th note resolution on the step sequencer. Resolution can be adjusted to 1/64 without having to double\ triple\ qaudruple the bpm. Looking forward to more updates with this.
