so I was wondering if anyone knew how/if i could set up my sample as a loop and a one shot...
so press and hold the pad and it plays as a loop
then when you let go it plays the the sample like a one shot..

the sound im looking for sounds like if you have your sample on poly 1 & one shot and play it using note repeat..
this would be really cool if i could play my samples like this with note repeat off..
I know i can set up one pad as a loop and another as one shot using the same sample..but..i dont want to
and i might be able to do this using RANGE..but im still pretty confused about the range part of zone..
also if you help me with that it would be AWESOME!

the closest I could find is to do the following...

in the sample page
1. select the sample
2. goto trim/lp page
3. change the play mode of the sample to loop
4. open window-change loop type to loop until release

goto the program screen-
1. change the sustain and release to 100
2. change the decay to 0

the sample fades out but I think this is the closest you're gonna get

I have your answer as I once Imagined doing the same thing. Load up your sample and change to Loop.
Go to program KG Mix, goto left of sample so your highlighting the number , press window change play trigger to toggle, now it will play over and over until you hit the same pad. Hope I helped.
