I actually have been checking this forum every day because it would be nice to actually see what I am doing on my xl instead of guessing. I cannot see song mode at all, and can barely see what I am loading from my CF reader. Track mute mode is crummy as I cannot even make out if tracks 5-8 are on or off.

I am not saying much, just that when a new replacement comes out, I am going to purchase one. And that day will be a happy one for me, because I will be able to create (the way I like to) again. I am a hand drummer so the mpc has been a great find for me.

We are musicians creating amazing sounds to take everybody by surprise. I will spend my time creating. I am waiting for more ease of use, but even now I can make it work.

Point being, make music, don't waste your time on here, just check back often to see when the replacements come out, then buy one if you need one. I am like you in some ways, I like look into it too far, and think everyone is out to be greedy and gain anything and everything they can. We will see in the end if they work out or not.

For now, well, I and everyone else here are checking for that new post on here, the one that says their "in", so when you throw up arguments, I see "new post" but then I see it's just you. But whatever, I guess it's all part of it. Say what you will, but don't neglect your setup.

look i dont care if you buy this screen or not you can buy a dozen of them for all I care but my opinion still stands I dont think they are going to be any better made and they will still have the same issues all lcd screens have.

the problem with this thread is that it sounds like a bad infomercial and all these posters that get on here sound like the fake actors they bring in for testimonials, if you post any opinions against their screen they bash you and call you a basher and a troll.

The real problem with this thread is that a mod has not yet cleaned up all the bs in the last two pages

currently mpcstuff.com has screens for 365, i guess soon they will be selling these prototype screens for 160 something, mpcworld.com has screens for 100 if you send in your old screen for recycling. to me this sounds like a better deal and worth mentioning to other people but the moment you let this know to other people these guys want to argue that that's not possible and that there is no way companies could be benefiting from recycling lcd screens

I mean how can you argue that companies do not make money and get grants and tax breaks by recycling ??? have you seen trash inc?

get real

dude, they repair the old screens you send in if possible and resell them.. they aint stripping them down for the glass and gold leads.

everything made of plastic, metal, glass, and paper can be recycled... but that aint what's happening to your old screens you are sending in. Trust that.

Damnit B read, youve found my hiding spot!
But seriously, doesn't this dude outlashing sound like maybe a lame attempt by The Kangz at trying to derail the circulation of a product this forum will actually use?

If by that you mean it sounds like one hen cackling, and then 5 other hens cackling, thus making the first hen try to cackle even louder- then yes 8)
