Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

is it true that there are cd-burner that can burn the info from you MPC-2000 to your CD-ROM?.....i heard certain companies will be able to do this!

No - the software to carry out the burning needs to be installed in the OS of the MPC.

they also say that version 1.14 does have software for burning for certain burners

i didn't say companies said it.....i know on my list that came with the MPC akai says that a cd-burner made by Teac works for load/save.....so i wonder what that means........plus i just needed to know because hopefully we could get one last OS that does do that!

You misread the docs. That same Teac is sold to use with the Akai DPS series which can write to CDRs which is what it was referring to. The MPC2000XL has NO cd writing capabilities.

hmm. How much space would it take up from the memory to write a cd burner support onto it? all it would have to do is record and store data like on a zip drive.
