Ayo guys.
My lab now consists of : -mpc 1000, -turntable+mixer, -laptop, -audio/midi interface, -midi keyboard, and amp and speakers.
Really I'd like to get rid of the laptop, since it's had its best time and I dont want to lose my projects. I now work with Reason and Fl studio.
Is it better to get like a macbook or a normal windows laptop? All I want to do is mix the seperate tracks from the mpc in it. I'd also like a synth that's not too expensive and which I can directly record into my mpc (with the midi and all).
If I'd get an apple computer, is the crossover from reason/fl to like logic/protools not too hard?
Thanks.
