Try things out by youself, use your ears. If it sounds good it is good. If you
don't know how to start, try analysing and remaking beats you like. Look up the
samples they used on sites like
http://www.whosampled.com/ ,
http://www.the-breaks.com/ and
http://www.du-bruit.com/ and try to create the
beat on your own. You'll learn alot from this. Use Youtube beatmaking videos for
inspiration, but don't take them too serious. A lot of the stuff that goes into
beatmaking is not shown in those videos, because it's either boring to watch or
the producer doesn't want to give out that information.
