Beathang finally here? Unbelievable!

ima say the sp606 was the 1st unit i know of that linked hardware and software in a seamless fashion but then they dropped the ball.

this batton was pciked up by maschine albiet that their incarnation was more of a midi controller.

the beat thang picked up where the 606 left off adding the inbuilt sounds like an emu command station with the sample ability.

suddenly autria spark comes out with a drum machine based on the the above

I still think implying the beat wang has influenced other manufacturers is like saying the Bontempi organ played a pivotal role in the development of the Moog synth.

What inspires other companies to come up with similar competing concepts, is market share. That beatfaggotry has no proven track record of success. It has no market share. No one is copying it.
