4000 wont read fl studio exported wavs?

So the drums I chopped and wav exported in fl studio wont load in the 4000. I tried to convert them to cd quality waves in dbpoweramp but it messes the sounds up for some reason they are all staticy .. what should I do?

so you exported all the files as wav? why convert them if they are already wavs? What exactly do you mean with cd quality wav? Have you tried to load them sounds on the 4k before you converted them?

I don't know what the issue was, but maybe 32 point floating was checked off in the FL export dialogue. That's the only setting I could think of in FL that might cause the MPC to not read the file. The 4000 should read any WAV at 16 or 24 bit, from 44.1khz to 96k.

I hook up my 4000 later tonight and see if I can repeat the FL export issue.

Yeah, Recycle is still the quickest. But Slice-X in FL should be able to accomplish the same thing for the OP, if he can sort out the exporting problem.

hah I figured it out. The reason for the static was because I was normalizing the samples during conversion. Weird... Im using dbPowerAmp
