Hello, I would like to ask you if there is any way to implement this:

From the track mute screen I have i.e. BD, SN, OPHH, CLHH assigned to pads 13, 14, 9, 10. Is there any way to mute all the percussion without pressing 4 pads at the same time? Let's say, to assign a mute or unmute event to one pad.

I tried recording this event but it's tricky because the loop keeps moving and the behaviour of muting-unmuting the mute pad is fired again and again.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your answer. Solo is not an option, I need more than one sound.
I'm using JJ OS XL. By MIDI, you mean by an external controller or using the MPC?

Cheers!

the RM1X has a nice mute group function for this.

If your sequencing out a track why not simply duplicate the sequence and toggle the mutes in the new sequence?

if using a controller, what about routing the track that triggers those pads through the XL track mixer and then control the level using CC #7 MIDI volume to that channel (or 0=muted, 127=unmuted heh). This gets more complicated if you have a few tracks you want to punch in & out at once I guess.

yes, nice
