Sold all my hardware--MPC-, racks, synths, and never looked back. Using this along with the line 6 midi mobilizer and hook my iphone w/ the nanostudio app to play my 88 key midi keyboard while recording on nanostudio. OR i use my synthstation for BEATS ON THE ROAD.

Used apple ipod touch $100.00

Nanostudio App- $15.00

NanoStudio is a recording studio for iPhone/iPod Touch. It has virtual analogue synths, sample trigger pads, a comprehensive sequencer, a sample editor, a mixer and multiple effects all integrated into a single application.

Akai Synthstation- $63.00

A Grand Total of $178.00 will get you an app that does damn near EVERYTHING ALL MPC's / Motif/ Fruity Loops/ Beat Thang does for a fraction of the cost.

Internet connection to download samples.

I messes with Nano studio. Have had it for a while now. I also have "Beatmaker 1 & 2"

They are cool little apps to fill the time of ridding the bus, but nothing I'd want to stare at all day.

Heavy limitations (of course)
Super small work area (of course)

MPC-Killer? C'mon.... yeah to the r i g h t.

Have your fun and beat away...

Oprah,

Are you going to be giving this setup away to all those that reply to your thread?

Word. Can we please get away from this 'killer this, killer that nonsense". Or at least deal with it more sensibly, and discuss things like this and Maschine as possible alternatives or a complement to a hardware setup.

I get that the OP is hyped on his mobile rig, I have a similar thing going with an iPad/Alesis dock and anything in my house with MIDI jacks, and it's dope. I just don't see what the "killer" hyperbole accomplishes besides getting a thread more views quicker, as we are definitely a politicking bunch of cats.
