HOUSE IS A FEELING!

it's all about the bass drum still, designed to be played on massive systems, for people to dance to.

a drum machine a synth and a sampler is all you need!!! 8)

house is so diverse:

have a listen to omar s and moodymann. both from detroit. they use mpcs. and are about the only people i'd conisder to be still making decent house.

with house you are making tracks for djs to use. you are not making songs.

best way to learn how to make house tracks is to go out dancing to good house djs. you have to see what moves people on the dancefloor. and that is usually way different to what moves people sitting around their lounge room.

go over to http://deephousepage.com for plenty of production talk and dj mixes.

I can't see Theo Parish, Moodyman and the like being Cosmic's thing on the whole. I obviously don't know for sure, but the direction his stuff is heading is much harder than them type of cats.
