Actually it still looks like vaporware right now, because I usually see open-boxing video on YouTube, or actual depth review (no, not that "this is a game changer, it is so easy to use!" type of review.) from the people who bought it in store.

To be fair, I haven't found user reviews for Tempest neither (which I thought it is already released, and although it is expensive, I know some one would get it soon as it is released), so I guess it is too early to tell.
I am just interested to see it in person.

somebody from montreal informed me here on the forums (he is a member here) that they have one at one of our music shops that I sometimes get gear at (it's called moog audio)

I'm pretty sure that's his given name. He hasn't been relevant for over a decade. He used to be a fairly decent producer around '92 - '96.

Nah, Tempest won't be shipping until around the middle of September, if not a bit later.

We need to find someone who works at Best Buy and can find out the actual number of sell-throughs nation-wide. I'm sure it's a low number. You do see younger kids making videos, but I figure anyone with $1500 to burn is too smart to cop Beat Thang.
