Everything works great. Its very clean. There is a small dent right between the two rows of transport buttons. Other than that, its perfect. I went out today and found a mint 2500 with all Akai options for $500 out the door. I snatched it for my friend in Cali. That is three times my son has been with me and I found MPC deals.

I just found that 2500 for my friend in Cali that I posted above. It is near mint, factory maxed and was $500 out the door. I will definitely be on the prowl for another one.

Went "browsing" today without either of my good luck charms (my son and daughter) and found this:

I have a 3000, 2000Xl, my workhorse 2500 and now a 60. I gotta get them posted!! I have to invest in some studio furniture. My lab has kinda grown in the past few months!

Touche' - Pics within the hour - lol.

The 3000 is currently in pieces as I'm customizing it and maxing it out before I throw it up on ebay, This is the latest project I got, everything works except the volume knob is loose and I can't test the floppy drive out. There are scratches on the faceplate, but I"m gonna customize this one as well but its not for sale.

does it have the scsi and ram?

no ram, 13 seconds is all i have, and no scsi, that I know of, because the "rs-232c" isn't for scsi correct?

These are my two MPC60's, I'm about to part company with the MKII which has a stock configuration.

The OG60 is maxed (SCSI/RAM) and going nowhere anytime soon.

I just spent a few hours removing/ cleaning the pads and sensors on the OG 60, not that you can tell....
