Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Is there any way of increasing speed when scrolling through parameters and values? I build lots of drumkits on my MPC and whenever I want sample 755 for example, I have to spin that damn wheel for like two minutes to get through the 754 samples before it.
I wish there was a button to press so that the scroll would jump ten steps a click or something. Is there a trick for this? I have had other samplers that could.
I tried seperating all the sounds into different folders but that just got messier because then I have to load the kicks, then the snares, then the claps......

Does the 500 not have any numbered buttons you could press?

why not loading first the kick(s), then the snare, then the hats ?
or you could create a folder for each kit. e.g. 808, 909, dirty southern shit etc.
an ordered folder-structure is one of the main-basics i think.

but: the tip with the mysterious shift-button could be helpful. cant test it right now.
in number-fields try shift+left and shift+right. that speed up scrolling bpm for example.
