Hello,
I´m interested in getting a white screen from mpcstuff for my mpc1000, but I´d like to know if I really have to adjust the contrast at each startup with JJOS1, as stated on the website? This would be kind of annoying for me. :?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just replaced it with a black bg / white light one, you can adjust the contrast and save the config into the memory card, it will auto-load on boot and your screen will look fine without adjusting it.

Regards.

Hello,

On older OS you can't save the system setup by yourself but the contrast and all the other settings are saved "automatically" so there should be no problem.

The system setup function is useful if you want to reload your own settings after reseting the MPC or if you want to share your personal settings.
