New JJ OS tutorial book being planned - Feedback Wanted

some other topics/questions that come to mind that i'd like to see steps for in a guide:

1.how to setup my midi keyboard
2.when do i use NDC chop and what is it good for?
3.what should go in my autoload folder
4.whats the differance between 2xl pgm and jjos pgm, can i load up my old beats?
5.how does sample loop work on jjos
6.where is autocromatic
7.where are pad layers and what about simult, mute groups, etc.
8.how to route my tracks/pads and track to daw
9.simplest way to track my beats to daw
10.how to use looper while creating a beat
11.step recording from main screen
12.tap tempo tips and tricks
13.quantizing tips and tricks
14.exporting song and dumping into daw
15.grid mode overview

sort of mentioned before, but i like the idea of "workflow" outlines, or real life workflow examples, and maybe outlining the steps to create a beat in those various setups.

example:

classic hiphop sampling
reason setup
external midi gear setup
live dj setup
live performance setup
minimalist setup
dubstep setup
daw setup
tracking setup

All great stuff, this will keep me nice and busy

I want something that goes in depth about the work flow, tips and tricks for creating Inst PGM's.
At one point I saw a vid of JJ having the MPC automatically map samples to keyranges based on how they were named. I can't find that vid now...

New member here... basically only joined due to buying the MPC1000 tut book.
So, if my vote even counts, i say JJOS2xl and if it has to be model specific then the 1000... just cos i own it.

I'd happily pay for a XL version of your book.

I can agree with this. To me things like arp, chord, inst, multi timbre mode are unexplored areas. It would be nice to see these in context of workflow....I mean, we can all prob grasp how they actually work, but an explanation on them in practical use would be nice.

When can we expected the release for the new jjos xl manual??? cant wait to get it!!

Yeah, what he said!!! Make these tutorials get in depth and go deep. JJXL user are ready to dive way below the surface. Or else we would have stuck with OS1...

Also new member here, just bought an MPC2500SE (got fed up with mouse-music-making) and flashed it with JJ-OS XL 2.30 straight from the box. Also bought the MPC1000 JJ-OS 3.10 tutorial book to get started, but would very much like an deep, advanced JJ-OS XL book!

PS: Have been reading on the forum here last days and found a lot of very usefull information (therefore did not have to ask yet ), thanks to all the helpfull people here!
