My mpc will suffer non-use?

I'd sell it.
They will have dropped in price by the time you use it again so it makes sense to sell it now and just buy another one in a few years.

I woldnt sell it. its brand new. who knows what will be discontinued and unavailble in a few years. I regret selling every piece of equipment i own, simply cuase they dont make it anymore and i got it when it was brand new. now i gotta buy used to get what i and thats risky sometimes.
