Is there any possibility assigning each pad to individual tracks in Logic9? I am using and Mbox2 with digital in and digital out on the MPC1000.
The thing is why I would want this is so I can mix the drums and so in Logic properly.

I know there should be a way for this, just not sure how though

the digital connection is a stereo connection.
that means that you can send ONE stereo signal at once, or TWO mono signals at once (hard panning one signal left and the other right)
you cannot send multiple track at once via spdif.
if you can get your hands on a multi input audio card, then you can use all 6 analog outs to route tracks to logic (that means 3 stereo signals at once, or six mono signals at once, or any combination of those)

so, spdif is not the way to multi track to your daw, you will need ADAT to send 8 mono signals digitally to DAW, but mpc1000 has not that option.

via spdif you are forced in tracking the different tracks out one (or two if mono) at a time.
