Numark TT500 Clicking sound :(

hey, have had these turntables for years but never used them like everyday. Came home yesterday and turned my MPC and turntable on to sample some records i found, the turn table is making a quiet clicking sound when i start the platter moving, but if i am moving the platter manually it doesn't do it. There don't appear to be any other problems with the pitch etc but as you can imagine, this is anoying as these TTables are mint condititon.

Any ideas?

i don't know the problem with your turntable

never happened to my technics 1210 (which are no longer in production)
