mpk mini with mpc 2500

a friend lent me his mpk mini i was wondering if i could put the keys to use on the mpc but since its only usb is there a proper way to route this out with usb to midi cables?

no.

you have to use a computer as the host and route your midi data to a physical midi output which is connected to your mpc´s midi in.
