Hmmm...this is a great development. I cant see if the realtime recording is switching on the fly or only on the 1st beat. Having the option to mix patterns on the fly (with all patterns obeying the bar timing) would be wonderful.

Man, pattern to pad looks great. It seems like it could be used to replace song mode. It's almost like a DAW playlist I think.

This looks promising thanks for posting le rat.In the pattern bank screen what is that on the right side?Is
it a grid control? Also on the main screen above the mute button you have a setting one, loop, and fill.
What is fill?Pattern to pad kicks ass and I can not wait to see where this is going.TYPO

yeah, the fill thing is good, now we need an option to unlock the timing of the switching, but keep the patterns bar synced. Ableton live can do this with the legato function. Here's a video i did with a GenoQs Nemo showing the possibilities. From 0:56 on i'm switching the beat patterns:

I requested this with sequences. JJ suggested that it'd be easy, but haven't seen it yet. I ended up sequencing tracks containing PC=>seq changes and track mutes to create a similar effect.

The thing with the fills is perhaps we can have a bank full of them and switching constantly between them will stay in sync.
