Propellerhead Record!!

Ya, i got lost in it the first month i used it. So many things you can do..

i'd go as far as to say with a laptop and record alone, you got a bomb a$$ studio in your backpack... make it happen, cappen.

Im really surprised that Propellerheads hasnt added vst support to any of their programs yet. If they did this I guarantee that would make much more $$$$...

On one hand I agree, but on the other I don't. Looking at the whole industry, yes it does seem strange that they haven't added VST support. The flipside is that by not having VST support, they make the 2 most stable apps on the market. I've been using Reason since 2.5 for 6 and a half years and it's never crashed/froze or hung even once. The 2 other apps I use most, FL Studio and Ableton Live have become almost unusable for me due to random VST issues.

With everybody having at least a dual core and likely better nowadays, our rigs are powerful enough to Rewire a VST host if necessary. I'm looking forward to 64 bit Rewire, and the merging of Reason/Record.

as far as the VST´s go, like you mentioned, you CAN use vst plugins with the rewire function. I always thought Reason and Cubase go together pretty well
