MPC 3000 question

Whatsup guys,

i've had the mpc 5000 and 500 but im thinking to get a 2500 or a 3000.

I liked the 5k because of it's built in harddrive that i can connect via usb an load it up with samples. What about the 3K? Do you have to put all your sound on floppy disks or...how does the 3K work?
