Pro Tools and Live. I really like Logic also and I make lots of patches with it that I end up using elsewhere (the sounds) but I don't use it like "that".

Reason/Record, and Cubase, but soon just gonna switch to PT 9 now that I can use my own interface

Yeah, the MPC never lets me down. I voted Ableton. But Reason is more stable and version 6 will be even better combined with my MPC.

No audition? 
Most slept on daw i use that the new cs5 is good although they lost some of the effects which is lame. Check it out if you want a good recording amd mastering package (its not cheap so get the discounted version)

I love Audition since Cool Edit96
I bought it (version 1.5) a few years ago. Costs me 70 Euro. I tested v2 and liked it but had no reason to update.

cool edit 96 is rad, that's how i started making music on PC back in the 90s.
I voted for FL... It's what i've been using since I got a copy back at 2.7 or something. I like the new stuff in 10, like in the playlist for zooming in and out. I feel like you can do most basic musical things really easily in FL, which is good.

Pro Tools all the way for recording and mixing. Reason for production and synths, although I have made a couple beats strictly in Pro Tools!

ableton looks worth a shot tho..
friend o' mine just got it recently, so I got a quick glance of what it can do. also read about it.. Dunno for shure, but from my momentary point of view I guess that would be my weapon of choice. ... software wise..
