Record from MPC1000 to Logic Pro questions

Hi!

I want to sync my mpc to logic pro to get a nice mix and master on my beats..

So, I see that you can sync using a midi to usb cable but not record the audio with onl the sync. What do I need to do? What equipment do I need?

Maybe I have to connect from the Stereo Out to audio In from my external sound card, right?

You need 1 midi cable which goes from SOUNDCARD MIDI OUT to MPC MIDI IN. Then Setup logic and mpc (midi clock is the easiest):

Note that in general midi-delay is ~6ms so put that into logic preferences to get your beats aligned to grid:

Then, as you said, connect audio from MPC OUT to SOUNDCARD IN, arm (Rec) an audio track in logic for correct inputs and off you go.

Yeah it's Okey, thank you very much! Now my sync is working well

I have same set up using digi 003 and I put the audio cables in the 1/2 in and then armed track and hit rec but no sound is coming out of my speakers .. What am I doing wrong just for the sound?!
