Torq is ill. I'd love to have it but I haven't been able to get myself to commit to that purchase.....One day maybe.
For now I'm using a Numark M2. I used it to do the scratches on my last track. I couldn't scratch my way out of a paper bag if I had to. So I went with a budget TT mixer...Does the job for me plus all my scratches end up chopped up in Octo Rex anyway. I wonder if I'd notice a difference between a nice TT mixer and my M2.....I would probably guess a better cross fader.

Hell yeah...Torq is bad to the bone...I know alot of folks talk about Serato and say it's "way more stable", but I have never had an issue with Torq. Does exactly what I need it to for way cheaper. 8)

We've got pretty similar setups, HF- I use PDX-2000's also...great tables.

^ you using torq 2.0? it looks dope.
I only got 1.5 and I wouldnt say it's as good as serato, but decent bang for the buck..
Crashed on me couple times, of course when playing at a club
gotta upgrade to that 2.0 tho..
And b.read we got the excact same setup: pdx2000's, pmc05 and torq 8)

Almost! I wish I had the pmc...I've got the denon that Arkyve posted...not too keen on it. Not using 2.0 yet...still on 1.5. I was pretty late to that party from the earlier version so I'm going to give it a good soak period before plunking down the $40 for 2.0. Stinks to hear that it crashed on ya, it's still an awesome bit of software though. :D

Yeah, I have 2.0.2. I had to though. It came with 1.5 which doesn't work on Windows 7, which I didn't know about til I went to fire it up and it wouldn't read the Conectiv. So I used the Conectiv serial number to upgrade 2.0 for $50 and now it works great. You don't even need the Conectiv plugged in to use it. But I was up til like 2 am last night **** around with it. Exact same shit as Serato. Crates, 4 decks, you can double the current deck to the opposite deck and rock a whole party with only one physical turntable, low latency. I'm happy with it so far! Only cost me $210 for everything!

Just type in "vestax pmc" in the keyword box here: http://used.guitarcenter.com/usedgear/index.cfm.

A bunch of them mad cheap! You could probably sell your Denon for what it would cost you for the pmc!
