Hi everybody,
I just got an MPC 1000 off eBay, and it seems to me that the up and left cursor buttons are not working. At the initial screen (and any other screens), pressing the down cursor button works, but then pressing up will not return me to the position it was at before. It just stays there. I cannot navigate back to the top or move over to the left.
Maybe it's just because I'm new, but I don't think this is functioning properly.
I took the case off to take a look at it. Pressing the tact switch directly didn't work. I tried using DeOxit on the tact switches; that didn't work either.
I then ordered a new entire right PCB board and replaced the whole thing. Problem is still there. I think this verifies that it is not a problem with the switch itself...
Does anybody have any ideas what might be causing the problem/what I should do?
