MPC2500 AND MOTIF XS

Does anyone know if the MPC2500 can recieve MSB and LSB changes? Im using a Motif XS6 and am able to change the voices (in pattern mode on the motif) using the MPC, but im wondering if i change the voices on the motif can i transmit the MSB / LSB Changes to the MPC from the MOTIF XS........ thanks. hopefully someone has this setup and can help.

have you tried it ?? MPC is not a sound module per say...I dont see benefits of it thou

i have tried it. but if it is possible i havent been able to figure it out. the benefit of having my motif transmit the program changes to the MPC would be so i can easily choose the voice (program) i want in the MOTIF without having to figure out which MSB and LSB it is on the MPC. finding out what the MSB/LSB numbers are isnt difficult but just time consuming and sometimes puts a damper in the flow of things.

You can do this in OS2XL.Go to PCseq press window button, turn sequence to P.Change.and you will see Bank select MSB LSB settings up at the top of the screen..Hope this helps PEACE TYPO

I well prefer the Korgs to Roland ,i doubt you'd get a problem with a Korg M50

yes... thanks for the input but i know how to get to the program change screen.... the question is actually can the MPC2500 recieve changes thru midi. i know that it is capable of transmiting changes to the MOTIF XS, BUT can it recieve changes..... thanks, i really do appreciate the input.
