I originally got the oscilloscope to find a fault with a old Prophet 2000 sampler I had, ended up giving it away as it just started dying bit by bit.
On the other hand I did fix the EPS-16+ as it was always crashing or all buttons and keys would stop working on a daily basis.
It was dry joints on the PSU board; I re-flowed the AC in and DC out connectors and also cleaned the pins with a fibreglass pen and it's not crashed once since after many hours of constant use.
