mpc2000xl and the mpc1000 to communicate via midi.

Im having some difficultees setting up the mpc2000xl and the mpc1000 to communicate via midi.

what I most intressted of is just syncing the units. I'll be fine from there.. so Any help is highly appriciated.

I double checked that tha connection was correct. midi out(MPC2kXL) --> midi in (mpc1k) and vice verse with a 2nd midi cable.

i made sure midi was configured in both units... but Im only getting the mpc2kxl to trigger the mpc1k. the 1000 wount trigger the sequence on the other one

Anyone?

master and slave... one controls the other... not both control each-other...

Master to slave with one midi cable = Job done
