Parrerel compresion....................
On the drum buss (I dont use this but people may like it)
when you have routed all the drums to the drum buss
id say surgical eq it on the dancemaster eq but the vintage or loopaid may suit hiphop
add a compressor click on the top bar with right mouse and add a group then click on the left side and create a chain with the right button you have just started to run two drum patterns together created parrerel compression ......id say 8:1 maybe more is good for extreme compression and bring the threshold down until the little yellow dot is hitting 0db on the peak
the attack and release are subjective
but i say a super fast attack and slow release will get the transient sharp and this is what you want the punch blended in with the original untouched drums
