I'm not to sure honestly what he's doing with the 3k over there, is he using it all? seen the video mad times but just assumed he was using the motif and 2k

I didn't even notice the 3000 at first, but he def used it to add some drum parts.

Watch and listen closely...

At around 6:30 the motif drums drop out of the beat.

At 6:38 he starts the 3000 sequencer with some different drums knocking.

Pay attention class!!

We filmed roger linn about his evolution and the evolution of the MPC drum machine that he invented. That will be up on our site soon. I created the site because I ran to into the same problem you guys did. So I think everyone here is going to appreciate it !

He's using an MPC2500 for the drums and an MPC1000 for the melody samples.
