Problem with live-drum recorded loops

I'm using 2 and 4 bar loops from a recorded live drummer. He wasn't playing close enough to the click in the studio, so every time I try and add extra kicks and snares to the loop, the auto correct won't let it hit on time with the recorded hits. Can anyone help me? I've tried trimming the samples and that doesn't work. Am I missing something? Please help.

whay not slice the loop and replay it with your pads?

Its great that your drummer didn't play along the metronome at the studio, now your loops will be even more natural feeling. But yeah turn off time correct and the metronome and just put it together.
